In the Autumn of 2016 while drummer was hauled out at the boatyard in Carthagena I finally decided to increase her drought. I Found a 30cm tall I-beam that was 8 meters long and worked with two brothers hired by the boatyard to weld it on and box it in. the final effect was an increase in Drummers draft from 4’5″, to 5’5″. a very reasonable height indeed.
The best part about this boatyard was definitly the neighbours on Micromegas!
